Paint Lick Baptist Church is proud to offer the following ministries:
Sunday Morning Services
This is our regular worship service held every Sunday at 11AM. It is for anyone and everyone to attend. We welcome all age groups to this service. The service is approximately an hour.
Children’s Church
This is our chance to minister directly to our children under the age of eight. These children attend the start of our regular worship service on Sunday at 11AM and after announcements (about 10 to 15 minutes into the service), the children then leave the Sanctuary and proceed to the classroom, where they typically are taught a lesson about the bible, God, or other religious topic and then typically do a related craft project and eat a small snack.
Bible Study
We offer adult bible study every Sunday at 10AM and Wednesday evening at 6PM. We have three different bible study classes to choose from on Sunday mornings, and one large bible study class on Wednesday evening’s led by our pastor.
We also offer bible study classes for our children/youth every Sunday morning at 10 AM and every Wednesday evening at 6:30. A meal is served prior to class at 5:45PM on Wednesdays. Classes are broken into age-appropriate groups and last an hour.
Vacation Bible School (VBS)
We offer VBS every year for a week in the middle of summer school vacation, typically in late July. We cater to differing age groups ranging from 3-years old to 18-years of age and classrooms are divided into these differing age groups where age-appropriate lessons are taught. Snacks and a meal are provided. Transportation may be available if needed. On the last day of VBS, parents are invited to attend and share a meal with their children and to see what their children have learned.
Women’s Missionary Unit (WMU)
For over 136 years, Woman’s Missionary Union (WMU) has helped Southern Baptists fulfill the Great Commission. Here at Paint Lick Baptist Church, a small group of our women church members meet one day a month where we work on various projects to benefit the community and find ways to fulfill the Great Commission. Next Meeting is Thursday, February 12th at 11AM here at the church.
Youth Trips
On occasion, we will take our interested youth on “field trips” to various events such as concerts, camping, and other faith-based events to further their knowledge and enhance their experiences. There may be some costs involved in the trips, but the church usually tries to supplement the cost, and we provide free transportation to these events.
